Dr. Timna has been with Audiology and Hearing Aid Services since 1992 and is currently the director of the department. She is a native of Savannah and a graduate of Savannah Country Day School. Dr. Timna completed both her undergraduate degree and Masters Degree in Audiology at the University of Georgia. She received her Doctorate in Audiology through the Arizona School of Health Sciences. She is specially trained in the areas of tinnitus management. Dr. Timna loves being able to spend time with her family, especially her four grandchildren.  

Dr. Timna heads up our Skidaway Island office and you will also see her at our main office. Dr. Timna is accredited with the Georgia State Board of Audiology, the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds her clinical competency in Audiology. 

 

Cori Palmer, Au.D., CCC-A

Dr. Palmer is a native of Tifton, Georgia. Dr. Palmer joined Audiology and Hearing Aid Services in 2008. She completed her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Georgia. She received her Doctorate degree in Audiology from the University of Louisville. Prior to joining the team at AHAS, Dr. Palmer worked at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Palmer works in our Savannah and Skidaway Island offices. Dr. Palmer loves running and spending time with her husband and two young sons. 

 

Dr. Palmer is accredited with the Georgia State Board of Audiology, the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds her clinical competency in Audiology.

Dr. Allen is a native of Savannah, GA. She completed her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders at the University of Georgia. She received her Masters degree in Audiology from the University of Tennessee. She has been working at AHAS since the summer of 2015 and joined our staff full-time after receiving her Doctorate degree in Audiology from the University of Tennessee. Dr. Allen is mom to her fur son, Mylo.

Dr. Allen works in our Pooler and Main offices. Dr. Allen is accredited with the Georgia State Board of Audiology, the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds her clinical competency in Audiology.

Dr. King is a native of Pittsburgh, PA. She completed her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders at California University of Pennsylvania. Dr. King joined AHAS in the Summer of 2018, completing her residency year. She received her Doctorate of Audiology degree from West Virginia University in 2019. Dr. King works in our Savannah and Pooler offices.

Dr. Laws is a native of Swansboro, NC.  She completed her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at East Carolina University.  She received her Doctorate of Audiology degree from Nova Southeastern University, in Ft. Lauderdale, FL in May 2020.  Dr. Laws enjoys spending her weekends with her Bernese Mountain dog, Delaney.

Heather Lanier is a native of Ava, Missouri and moved to Savannah in 2004 to be closer to her family. Heather joined the staff Audiology and Hearing Aid Services in 2014 and now serves as our Office Manager. She works primarily at the Main office, but you will occasionally see her in Pooler. She is a mom to two kiddos, Aaron and Alexis, and in her free time she loves going to Krav class.

Leah Blackwell
Audiology Doctoral Candidate

Leah joined Audiology and Hearing Aid Services in the Fall of 2019; completing her second and third year Audiology clinical studies with us, while fulfilling her coursework at the University of Florida, in Gainesville. Leah received her undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences from Georgia Southern University (Go Eagles!) in 2018. Leah will be receiving her Doctorate of Audiology degree in May 2022 once her studies and clinical work are finished. Leah loves to travel, hang out with her family (fur family too!), and spend time on the Golden Isles of Georgia! Leah travels to all offices, so you will see her around!

Madison Schmidt

Madison is a native of Cleveland, OH and completed her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Bowling Green State University in 2018. Madison is currently completing her Doctor of Audiology at Ohio University and will be at AHAS for the next 12 months, to finish her clinical studies. Madison will be receiving her Doctorate of Audiology in May 2022. In her free time, she enjoys reading, exploring Savannah, and spending time at the beach. Madison travels to every office, so you are bound to see this new face at AHAS! 

Kenyada Bell

Kenyada Bell is a native of Augusta, GA; however, she has considered Savannah home since she moved here about five years ago. Kenyada joined the AHAS team in the Summer of 2019 as a patient care coordinator but is now working as one of our hearing aid technician. You will typically see Kenyada at our Skidaway Island location, but you may also run into her at our Main or Pooler offices. While not at work, she enjoys spending time with her kitty cats, Charlie and Campbell. Kenyada is currently working towards her bachelors degree in the health care field, with hopes to one day be a Psychologist. 

Ashley Konesko

Ashley is a native of Junction City, Kansas and moved to Savannah in 2016 when her husband, Matthew, was stationed at Hunter Army Airfield. Ashley currently has her Bachelors in Social Work with a specialty in Gerontology and is working towards her Masters in Social Work. Ashley started working at AHAS in August of 2019 and now serves as one of our hearing aid technicians. She works at the Savannah and Skidaway Island offices. She is a mom to one human son, Elijah and two fur children, Norman and George. 

Allysa Norsworthy

Allysa is a native of Charleston, SC and moved to Savannah in 2016 with her husband. Allysa joined Audiology and Hearing Aid Services in the Spring of 2021 as our new patient care coordinator for our growing Pooler office. Allysa is the first friendly face you will see when coming into our Pooler office. Allysa reading, playing video games, and doing absolutely nothing when time allows. Allysa also enjoys spending time her her American Bull Dog, Looney Luna.
