Audiology and Hearing Aid Services wants you to know you are not alone with hearing loss. According to the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders 1 in 5 people over the age of 45 have hearing loss.

This statistic increases to 1 in 3 for individuals 65-74 years old and 1 in 2 for individuals that are 75 and old.  Although invisible to the eye, research has shown untreated hearing loss results in higher rates of depression, anxiety, memory loss, and other psychosocial disorders in individuals with hearing loss who were not wearing hearing aids.
