Auditory Deprivation


Auditory deprivation is the deterioration of hearing due to the lack of sound stimulation. Much like exercising your muscles, it is important if you have hearing loss to “exercise” your hearing system with sound to keep it working optimally.  Hearing aids can provide this sound stimulation.
